Equipped with multiple digital inputs, including 2 optics, 1 coaxial with 2 USB ports, the HD-AMP1 has the ability to decode the latest generation of high-resolution audio file types without loss, including WAV, AIFF, ALAC, FLAC in resolution -bit/192-kHz, with the ability to play MP3, WMA and AAC tracks. The USB-B rear port has advanced noise isolation, so you can connect your PC or Mac and stream files of even higher resolution, up to 32-bit/384-kHz. HDAMP1 is equipped with the ESS SABER DAC benchmark and dual main clock crystals for greater bandwidth, higher dynamic range and lower distortion, and HD-AMP1 can also play your favorite DSD high definition audio tracks including 2, 6/5.2/11.2-MHz. The powerful amplifier features high-resolution D technology and has a wide dynamic range, extended frequency response and high current capacity - HD -AMP1 fully rated transmit low-resistance 4 ohm speakers at 35 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 70 watts per channel at 4 ohms. All over the HD-AMP1 there are 3 circuit blocks featuring our exclusive HDAM-SA2 technologies, including the analog front end, D/A I/V converter block and the exclusive headphone amplifier block, which also has 3 selectable gain levels to handle the widest range of headphone resistors and has its own volume control. In addition to the digital inputs there are 2 analog inputs and there is also a subwoofer output. For compatibility with the widest range of speaker cable terminations, the HD-AMP1 has the premium SPKT-1 connection.
